Wow! The weekend we’ve all been looking forward to will soon be here. Thanks to the hard working Reunion Committee for bringing us back together in style!

Melissa (Cowan) and I (high school sweethearts and next door neighbors) were married in 1974. We’ll be driving down from our home in Los Osos (San Luis Obispo County) where we’ve lived for the last 40 years. Starting in 1980, we were gradually raised in turn by our three highly-talented children (Owen, Evan and Monica) to whom we are eternally grateful. After our beloved 20 year-old cat died recently, we’ve really became empty nesters!

And now for something completely different:

Starting at 3 PM on Saturday afternoon of the Reunion Weekend, there will be a gathering for any and all former Football Players from the RHHS Class of ’69 (AND their better halves) at the Lounge of the Marriott Courtyard Hotel (same location as Friday night’s Happy Hour).

Besides collectively swapping anecdotes/injury reports/tall tales/stories/etc., teammates also will celebrate our Legacy of becoming the first Team in RHHS history to win the Sky League Championship. “Party On, Dwayne!” If you can join us (and haven’t yet responded), please shoot me an email: trochte@sbcglobal.net Hope to see you!
