The route for the Class of ’69 Beach Walk on Sunday, September 24 starts in Veterans Park in Redondo Beach and follows the Esplanade south to Miramar Park, a distance of about 1.7 miles. Leading the walk will be Sharon Atkinson Sheehan. From the bluff above the beach, you’ll have fabulous coastal views all the way.

You decide when you’re ready to turn around and head back to Veterans Park. You can also choose to sit on a bench and just watch the waves, or venture on down to the shore and dip your toes in the water. The first half-mile is accessible for the mobility-impaired.
