Mike Zappas, Class of ’69, was named Citizen of the Year by the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce in April 2023.

Mike moved to the Central Coast of California in 1991, where he made his mark developing and managing real estate through his company, Z Villages. He was previously honored by the National Arbor Day Foundation for his woodland preservation efforts.
