John T. Alden Obituary

On March 7, 2013 John Alden of Callahan, Fl. at the age of 61 went home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ after his battle with cancer. John was a faithful loving husband and father.
John proudly served his country in the Coast Guard in the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Callahan and lived his life for the Lord daily. John and his wife Debbie met on the Alaska Pipeline where they were eventually married in Alaska and raised their two boys Jaysir & John. They were married for 32 years. John loved to golf, hunt, fish, fast cars, old cars, boats, camping, traveling and the ocean.
He was predeceased by his father John T. Alden, Sr.
John is survived by his wife Debbie Alden of Callahan, daughter of Elliott & Marilyn Jones of Callahan, son Jaysir Alden (Alaska), son John Alden (California), mother Joyce Alden, sister Linda Fuller, and 4 brothers Mitch, Steve, Scott, and Gene Alden and 2 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 @ 4:00p.m. at First Baptist Church of Callahan, Fl. with Dr. D. Lynn Hyatt officiating.
