I’m still an Engineering Nerd, but semiretired now. Tom Kunz and Mike Watts and I still meet to surf a couple times a year. I live in the Santa Barbara Mountains in the house I built 35 years ago. I’m looking forward to seeing the class of ’69.

Scheduled to retire at the end of this semester after teaching Journalism at Marquette University for 44 years including 15 years as department chairman and several sabbaticals teaching in Rome and consulting with the Vatican. Planning to spend time with our 14 grandchildren and their parents.

Kickoff Event for Reunion Weekend
The Class of 1969’s 50th reunion will kick off with a No-Host Happy Hour on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 5:00 pm at the Courtyard Torrance/Palos Verdes. The Courtyard, at 2633 Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance, is reunion headquarters with a block of hotel rooms reserved for our class for the weekend of August 16-18.
