Keith Emerson Reynolds Obituary
Keith Emerson Reynolds was born on November 27, 1950, in Cleveland, OH to Jeanne and Walter Reynolds. Keith spent the first few years of his life in the Midwest before his family resettled in Los Angeles County, California, where he would grow up with his brother Kevin and sister Debbie, complete his bachelor’s in Philosophy at California State University, Dominguez Hills, marry his wife, Anita Reynolds and adopt her daughter Jennifer, and have a son, David.
Keith also spent a career as an administrative specialist at Dominguez Hills, and purchased a home in the beautiful seaside community of Rancho Palos Verdes, overlooking the ocean and Catalina Island. Keith was well known in his community as someone who was willing to help, especially when it involved children, and was considered the “rock” of his family, assisting with the health needs of his parents, extended family, and in-laws. Keith Reynolds was a decent, honorable, and dependable man, who was always there when needed. He had a passion for reading, history, and the outdoors, as well as a particular fondness for percussion cap pistols and rifles that he would shoot out in the California desert at every opportunity.
Keith passed peacefully on the morning of April 13, 2021, with his son David by his side. Keith is also survived by his daughter Jennifer, his sister Debbie (Fagan), his brother-in-law Charlie, his brother Brendan, nieces Julie and Cheryl, son-in-law Shawn, daughter-in-law Stacy, granddaughter Francesca, and Ava, and grandson Alexander. Keith was preceded in death by his wife Anita (December 24, 2020), as well as his brother Kevin, mother Jeanne, and father Walter.
