Rindon Awalt Obituary

Ramona longtime beloved resident, Rindon “Rindy” Riley Awalt, 66, left this world the morning of December 27, 2017, while surrounded by love at Palomar Medical Center. Born in Ripon, CA on January 19, 1951 to George Awalt and Freda Foster Awalt, Rindy settled in Ramona to be a loving father and partner. Rindy proudly owned Awalt Auto Interiors until his retirement, and devoted 23 years of service to the organization of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed studying and making music, classic cars and reading non-fiction. Rindy is survived by his partner, Maureen Connell; daughter, Stephanie Awalt; son, Peter Awalt; brothers, Rocky and Randy Awalt; and sister, Robin Sellers. Rindy is now with his parents and sister, Ronna Awalt Kelly. He will be loved and missed by many. All are welcome to join for the Ceremony of Love that will be held at the Ramona Recovery Club back auditorium at 1710 Montecito Road, on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 2:00pm. Casual attire. No flowers or donations please.
